Endpoints

An endpoint is an instance of an endpoint type that can be used for importing a data asset into the Harbr platform to create a data product or for exporting a data product that has an active subscription.

Endpoint types are either transfer or data storage technologies, including:

• Browser Upload/download: Used to move files on an ad hoc or manual basis to or from a desktop.

• Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP): Used to securely transfer files via a secure server.

• S3/GCS/ABS: The native object stores from the three major cloud providers used to store data.
